| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
From May 1 through June 2, Cardigan Highlanders Volunteer Trail Crew patrolled these trails. #s: 8 work sessions, 7 crew in all, 73 hours, 150 drains cleaned so as to carry the summer's rains. Very few blowdowns.
For the next few weeks we'll be on our usual break for the rest of black fly season, then we have a long list of fixtures to build at several sites. Of course there is always trail tending as well: blaze and cut back the brush. We always have more work than people, and we welcome willing workers. |

| Bugs: |
As bad as ever. We worked early in the morning on cool days, and we quit when they became unbearable. |
