Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossings were either narrow enough to jump over, or wide and shallow, with huge numbers of stepping stones.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: In a couple spots, you could see overtly where the crews had been recently. I ended up sawing up a tree that was causing soil erosion problems.

Dog-Related Notes: Several pups having the time of their little doggy lives.

Lost and Found: One navy blue Reebok tech-fabric tee shirt. Left at the trailhead message board. One brown flip-flop.  
 
Comments
Comments: It was an amazing day to be outside. The clouds socked in the mountain until the second half of the afternoon. But after that, the clouds were in full-on retreat, and from Washington, I enjoyed stellar views. Trail conditions were wet (watch your footing on the steep bits) but quite passable. Monroe's summit found me with four people, and we were doing a good job
