| Water Crossing Notes: |
Crossings were either narrow enough to jump over, or wide and shallow, with huge numbers of stepping stones. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
In a couple spots, you could see overtly where the crews had been recently. I ended up sawing up a tree that was causing soil erosion problems. |

Several pups having the time of their little doggy lives. |

One navy blue Reebok tech-fabric tee shirt. Left at the trailhead message board. One brown flip-flop. |

| Comments: |
It was an amazing day to be outside. The clouds socked in the mountain until the second half of the afternoon. But after that, the clouds were in full-on retreat, and from Washington, I enjoyed stellar views. Trail conditions were wet (watch your footing on the steep bits) but quite passable. Monroe's summit found me with four people, and we were doing a good job
