Jefferson Notch Road is still closed. The road seems to be in good condition but there are a lot of trees that need to be cleaned up. |

A few notable blowdowns higher up in the trees on Caps Ridge but easily avoidable. Some other minor trees to duck under on Caps Ridge and Ammo but all in all there's nothing to be concerned about. |

Minimal small black flies. We noticed them above treeline when we would duck out of the wind. |

| Comments: |
Crawford Path is closed from Lake of the Clouds to the other side of Monroe, so you have to go over Monroe to get from Eisenhower to Washington. Other than that, the trails are in really good condition. Some minor mud lower down that, depending on your fortitude, would make you want boots vs. trail runners, but really it's rock 'n roll time. Saw a few people with skis/boards—think they were checking out Airplane Gully but didn't see anyone drop in. Seems like ski season is over, y'all. |
