| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
We left 1 car at Imp TH (closest to Andro Ranger Station) and the other at the lot for the snowmobile trails by Carter-Moriah TH |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Water crossings on Imp were passable |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A LOT of blowdowns on all of the trails - all were passable, most were easy to go around or under/over. It was clear someone came up semi-recently since some were sawed in half across the trails, others had branches sawed off so you could climb over/under |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
didn't see any - Can't imagine going down Carter-Moriah to Moriah would be fun for a dog |
| Bugs: |
So many mosquitoes |
| Lost and Found: |
Lost my white bandanna between Moriah & Surprise, closer to Surprise - don't need it back but feel bad for violating LNT |
| Comments: |
No snow except 2 small patches - one off trail, one on trail but at the base of a rock ledge where I don't think you'd step anyway. |
