Comments
Comments: This trail is looking awesome! Mostly all the snow is gone. Steep ledges were completely dry and good to hike on. Summit was completely snow and ice free. Significant muddy patches throughout the trail due to all the melting. There are areas and patches of snow starting probably a mile before the summit. We bare booted all the way up, and threw our spikes on, on the way down just to help gain some speed over the "snow mile" back to clear trail.
Monorail was mostly stable on way up, a little slushier on way down. We each post holed only once, and not too deep. Maybe up to our knees.
Check out my blog post for pictures of the trail.
