Very few black flies, no bug net needed. Did use BuzzOff before we left the car |

This is a nice trail, easy to follow. From the cabin we went to the summit, then did the loop back to the cabin as described in the AMC guide. That was very nice, as it is an evergreen forest and quite different from the vegetation coming up the trail. There were 5 fire pits at the cabin, despite the sign saying "NO Campfires" Views on this peak are pretty limited, but a nice hike anyway. |
