Monorail starts in the middle of the trek when you go beside the brook and continues to follow you up all the way to the summit. When I was coming back down, the monorail was starting to deteriorate causing me to posthole in places. Snowfield just below the summit was a pain in the butt with about 200 yards of minor post-holing. Specific sections of the monorail still were solid pieces of ice. In general, trail is still doable and warm weather over the next couple of days should help. BRING MICROSPIKES. |
