Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow/Ice - Postholes

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction

Water Crossing Notes: Water is still a little high, but easily crossed with some splashing.

Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blow downs. Erosion issues, probably from the October storm.

Dog-Related Notes: no dogs today. They'd probably have as much trouble with the conditions as people.

Bugs: lots of big flies, but no black flies yet

Comments
Comments: typical mid spring conditions. Monorail is almost completely destabilized. It's easier to just accept postholing and walk in the soft snow beside the 2" wide monorail. Postholes 3' deep still in places.
