Bare booted up and over both peaks. Slushy, deep snow on the way up Adams but short enough distance that bare boot was fine. Microspikes for a short distance below treeline on the way down lowes path due to icy monorail. Overall I can’t believe how dry the trails were and what a difference a week makes in terms of snowpack. |
