Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow - Spring Snow, Snow/Ice - Postholes

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction

Water Crossing Notes: No problems with water crossings.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails hard to follow at times due to fallen debris from latest storm.

Dog-Related Notes: My dog kept sinking in the snow but could always get himself out.

Comments
Comments: Mud minimal given the time of year. Significant snow on upper parts of trail that are not exposed. Where monorail was established it was solid, otherwise prone to collapse with applied weight. Gaiters highly recommended. Easier going down Carriage Road than up Gorge Brook.
