I originally intended this to be a counter-clockwise pemi loop trail run (my first for the season), but after slogging through the drifts, and postholing from Bond to South Twin I was going way too slow to make it during daylight, so decided instead to abort, and head down the Twin Brook trail to get back to Lincoln Woods parking lot. Very tricky postholing descent with no packed trail, lost trail several times.
Don't try to do the ridges unless you have snow shoes (I did not)!! |
