One large tree down. Easy to get around. |

I lost one of the baskets on my pole and mentioned it to the only other hiker I saw. Thanks for finding it it and putting it on my car Boy Scout. Lost one of my micro spikes on the lower third of the trail. |

| Comments: |
The trail starts off with a lot of leaves and snow melt. The climb is gradual with no technical aspects. About one third of the way up it’s all snow with occasional post holing. Keep your eye on the monorail. I wore microspikes which were good. No snowshoes necessary. |
