Bare boots from lot up to the 3rd crossing. Some ice after that but could be navigated. After Bald Knob junction the ice and snow make spikes or snowshoes the easiest way to go. We used spikes up to South and switched to snowshoes to the BK junction on the way back. Much easier to travel with the snowshoes. The monorail is stable but the sides are not. Went too early so not as clear as predicted though it was nice down low on return. Still a great day out. |
