Water was still running but I used logs and rocks to get across. |

After the brook crossing on Passaconaway Cutoff, there was a minor blowdown that I had to duck under. |

The slushy trails have frozen over. I used MicroSpikes over a hard/icy surface until I reached the Square Ledge Trail. There were sections in the Passaconaway Cut-Off Trail where I was hiking on bare ground. Square Ledge had some thick ice sheets so I switched to crampons and kept them on to the summit. |
