Comments
Comments: Jewell Trail: solid monorail with lots of bushwhacking above tree line-I used micro spikes until I started to bushwhack over to Jefferson at about 5100ft. Then I put on snowshoes for the remainder of the climb until I got past Jem Pool.
Great trail(trek) all the way to the summit of Jefferson.#challengecomplete
Clay Loop was a straight up bushwhack all the way back to Gulfside.#awesome
Bushwhacked up the cog to the Gulfside crossover.
Lots of bushwhacking down from Washington on Crawford.
Straight up Monroe-off trail.
Ammo was well tracked and no ice. Perfect for a fast descent. I bear booted past Jem Pool.
Most of the reason for bushwhacking was because others had done this before me. With the quantity of snow in this area it made great sense.
On this special day for me, it was great to meet #55 and #67 on the trail. It was awesome to meet you and your friends. As always thank you for all your support Bill and Lady Di, your the best!!
I have never climbed these 3 beautiful mountains in such great conditions. It was spectacular!!
