Comments
Comments: Extremely windy as I was about halfway to the hut on Old Bridal Trail. Winds were estimated to be between 60 mph and 80 mph. I witnessed 2-3 trees fall from the wind right off the trail! Saw some trees swing like I have never seen before! Was doing a solo hike so I turned around.

Tomorrow and Monday, April 22 and 23, Im attempting Little Haystack, Lincoln and Lafayette as well as Cannon.

I used crampons the entire time and they worked great. Spikes would have been ok but I prefer spikes. I also carried snowshoes and plan to do the same tomorrow.
