Kody had a great day despite some postholing in the ever-softening 'mashed potatoes' snow on the trails. No iceballs in the toes today since it was so warm. |

 | Comments: |
After 10 a.m. the snow softened considerably as the day progressed and temps climbed into the upper 40s on the ridge. All of these trails have been well-traveled and nicely smoothed by parties on snowshoes. Fun to meet John & Pepper to swap stories as well as other happy hikers who were out today. |
