Comments
Comments: Lower half of the trail is in fine shape -- firmly packed monorail, except for the few bits where the trail tracks a stream bed. Approaching the river, the trail thins out remarkably, and disappears entirely at the river itself. The snow thickens up, and at this point, efficiency might include snowshoes. YMMV. I had a near-constant 2 inches of balling on my MicroSpikes for the last 3+ hours of my trip.
