| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking for a few cars in the cleared area at the entrance to Wellington State Park, opposite the trailhead about 20 yards down the road. Trailhead parking area itself is covered with a few inches of hardpack, and blocked by a two-foot tall granular berm. |

Trails are in decent shape -- a few small stepover blowdowns that can easily be removed with a handsaw |

Similar conditions to those we reported a week or so ago, but now there's an inch to two inches of fresh snow.
Light traction was helpful to avoid any icy patches that are now obscured by the new snow. Snow is melting pretty quickly, though.
Goose Pond looked lovely with its new snow cover. |
