Comments
Comments: Started out with microspikes, but quickly came to the realization that snowshoes were the order of the day. One person had preceded myself and the three others that started at about the same time and was barebooting it with spikes, and the trail showed that even that person tired of the postholes and switched to snowshoes looping over from North to South Hancock. Unfortunately, ran in to about a dozen others, most with just spikes(no snowshoes) and with the sun, things were softening up. Even saw one trail runner in shorts!!! Wow! That guy's VO2 Max must be through the roof! :D Did see a group of three in jeans and sweatshirts without packs, food or water and I hope they were joking that they might be going for the summit! Yikes!
