Comments
Comments: Monorail is bordering on ice in most parts -- spikes will do you well. I saw the trail with a modest amount of snowfall. To those hardy souls who bare boot it, and leave the odd posthole... thank you. There were a few times when I was about to lose the trail, and then I saw a post hole and knew I was still heading right. Quite a few areas where the trail follows a brook, and those get muddy fast. There are usually icy/snowy borders, and in the interest of reducing erosion, I kept to them as much as possible. Snow and ice bridges aren't anymore, but for most of them, hopping across or finding stepping stones works fine.
