| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Lot is plowed, bit of a mud bog in the middle. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow - Wet/Sticky |
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All manageable, a couple of snow bridges left but probably not for long. All crossings were easy rock-hops. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
No blowdowns that were any factor in affecting the trail. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
4 on the floor traction with claws slightly better than 2 on the floor with microspikes today. All around great conditions, a couple dog face plants when straying off the rail, but otherwise excellent. |

| Comments: |
Sticky, wet snow & bare ground at lower elevations, everything firmed up at the top. The rail is solid, was able to run down without danger. Definitely did not need snowshoes for any part of this hike & could probably have gotten by without spikes. Not April foolin'. |
