Mt Jackson trail is in great shape. Jackson to Webster is broken out and easy to follow, but you'll get slapped by a lot of branches and there are a couple of areas to be careful in regarding postholes. No significant blow downs that we encountered |

Absolutely gorgeous day up there. Warm when the winds died down. Lots of melt throughout the day, but did the whole thing in spikes. Took the snowshoes for a ride. Trail is well broken, but a few have postholed their ways up and over. Nice refreeze made is easy going, however. Not sure how long it'll last with the rising temps. Be prepared for anything! |
