Comments
Comments: A wet and sticky snow day today with temps in the 40's. We started to go all the way to Osceola but turned at East Osceola due to blisters for my hiking partner and full fog on the main peak. We got an early start, leaving the trailhead at 7:00 AM. We used snow shoes all the way although the trail was packed out with no new snow. A little tricky in the steeps on the way up with snow shoes but we never did swap to microspikes. Lots of falling snow and water from the trees with the high temps. The snow trail is well worn now. We saw 10 or so other hikers, some with snow shoes and some bare booters. Several dogs on the trail and everyone seemed to have a great time.
