Comments
Comments: Snow was quite soft even early in the am but firm enough to allow barefooting all the way to Flume. Descended in snowshoes to minimize postholing as the snow was very mushy by then. When I hit the softwoods on the climb, it felt like it was raining from all the melt from the trees; by afternoon most of this had stopped. Views improved all day and by my return to Liberty, it had turned into a right nice day. Fun dodging snowmobiles on the bike path.
