Comments
Comments: Started out on North Imp in spikes, after 100 yards switched to snow shoes and stayed that way until Nineteen Mile Trailhead (for the road walk). North Imp was barely broken out, thanks to one other in snowshoes. At junction of N&S Imp trail improved considerably, looks like S Imp is the trail of choice to access Carter-Moriah trail. N Carter trail a little loose in spots, Carter-Moriah excellent to Middle Carter summit. Conditions between Middle and South summit considerably more challenging with blow downs, etc...see nicely done post by Protean Wanderer, whom I met on South Carter, for Carter Dome and Nineteen Mile Brook.
