| Comments: |
Coq Rail tr.: Packed down and solid. We barebooted to the steepest section and then put on snowshoes which we kept on to Monroe.
Monroe-Ike: Tracked out with variations here and there. Snowfields are solid. Some boney sections. Any footwear will work, nothing is perfect.
Ike-Pierce: Solid.
Pierce-Jackson: Tracked out but tracks are narrow and not consolidated. Snowshoes. At the ~mid-point between Pierce and the hut it looks like the folks who broke it out (a big thank you to them!) had trouble with route-finding (not surprising, really) and there are a bunch of variations. Variations just north of the hut as well - probably trying to avoid blowdown sections but there are too many and not all can be avoided.
Webster-Jackson: The best at the end! In superb condition. Wide, solid and smooth.
Thank you to Georg for a superb day in the Presies and for providing the car-spot.
