| Comments: |
Trail is well-packed, consolidated, but still rather soft. We all went snowshoes car-to-car, but I saw some people with spikes, some barebooting completely, and one dude in sneakers (legitimately).
Once out of the evergreens on the way down, bottom portion of the trail was very mashed potato-like.
Still multiple feet of snow over 3000’ and in between Waumbek and Starr King. No one has been past the outlook point on Waumbek down Kilkenny Ridge Trail. |
