| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
No issues getting down York Pond Rd. I completed my hike from 9am-3pm, so it fell within the usual open hours of the gate. However, it looked like the gate was well packed into a couple snowdrifts still so I'm guessing it is still open all day at this point. |

Stream crossing were mostly easy step/hop-overs, with a couple of the bigger crossings having well-trodden detours where the main ice bridges were looking pretty thin. |

| Comments: |
Trail was packed out and easy to follow, but still pretty soft in spots, especially after the turn from Bunnell Notch up the mountain on the Kilkenny Ridge Trail, so I stuck with snowshoes the whole way up and down. A surprisingly sunny morning meant I got some views I didn't expect at Bunnell Rock and the Cabot Cabin. There were also a couple gray jays hanging out on the trees at the cabin, making a couple swoops to try and steal my lunch from time to time. All in all, it was a tough day grinding the hike out in the snow, but a victorious one in knocking another 4000-footer off the list. |
