Beautiful day, many people (~25) on trail.
Snow is deep, 3-4 feet, but trails are well-packed down. Until one starts climbing the steeps, bare boots are fine, though a little slippery. MSR or similar snowshoes with grips and heel lift are recommended for the steeps. |
