Thor (DaveBear's dog) was one happy canine out there! He happily would have done the route all over again. Also saw Pepper, who looked like a champ. |

| Comments: |
All trails are broken out, but even with all the snowshoe traffic from today, the trails are not packed enough for barebooting (with the exception of 19MB). Soft snow up there! One couple we met at Zeta Pass did not have snowshoes and had to turn back after South Carter; they told us they were ready to pay $1000 for snowshoes right then and there. Lots of good folks on the trails today. Happy to meet Steve, "Pepper and Me," and many others. |
