Snow Conditions are fantastic right now! Deep snow and well travelled trails have set up nice conditions. Crampons required from Lions Head to Summit. Snow is good enough for only sticks, but I did use the ice axe on the descent. Took a straight line up the summit cone and cramponong was a dream. I could see skiers skiing over the headwall into the bowl. Temps were sub-zero and winds around 60 up high, but visibility was clear. Another storm may be moving in - just go! |
