Trail was fairly packed down after the heavy snows earlier in the week - thanks to those who broke it out. I wore snowshoes all the way, and would recommend the same, but I did see several people wearing light traction, and even some people in just boots.
I had hoped to complete the loop to Webster, but with the strong winds and drifting snow at the summit, I simply could not follow the Webster Cliff Trail. I heard second hand that the Webster Branch of the Jackson-Webster Trail was only broken out for a short distance past the junction. |
