Comments
Comments: Hikers should note the ski area expects a $10 tithe for use of their mountain. This does not entitle use of the chair lift. However, Ski Patrollers are enthusiastic and very friendly, and will help you find the appropriate trail to hike up. (Unless otherwise advised, use Polecat, and stay to the outside as much as possible.) Skiers were also found to be quite friendly, and very curious about others hiking up what they were skiing down.

On the ridge, the way going was entirely broken out very nicely, with only minor sections of ice here and there. (Huge shout out to whomever did this!) Someone had taken the opportunity to glissade down the longer steep bits, but this made no appreciable difference to the snow -- no glazing, etc was noted. Snowshoes will make for quick and easy passage of the route.
