| Comments: |
A great snowshoe hike from bottom to top. All trails including the Old Liberty Spring Trail packed but with 1 or 2 inches of fresh snow for added traction. Snow depth is thin in places on the trail. Big temperature drop when reaching the ridge. The winds eased up when our group reached the summit. Not a "bluebird" day but special in its own way with rime ice and near perfect snowshoe conditions. 5.5 hours round trip. |
