Crawford path was pretty well packed with only a few inches of powder on top, thank you to those who went up first and packed this down a good bit. Plan was to take Jackson to Pierce but once above treeline the conditions were pretty intense with low visibility, high winds and snow. As well as being in a cloud. Because of this we headed straight back down without reaching Pierce, I'll save that for another day. Saw a couple bare-booters coming down, not sure what they were thinking as they made a real mess of the trail. All in all it was a beautiful hike with no views whatsoever. |
