Comments
Comments: a most beautiful winter woods day with a foot of snow on all trees, and continuous light snow all day. dense white air precluded significant views, but too nice a day to matter. trails had a well established snowshoe track; SNOWSHOES NECESSARY-poles highly recommended. upper section to the ridge has loose snow making descent difficult to not slide into derriere sliding for stretches. the pitch to the ridge is a challenge to quad conditioning. magical ambiance all day.
Kestrel data: T=18F W=3mph WC-14F.
