Comments
Comments: Well today was awesome. I saw a crew of about 6-7 head up before my hiking busdy was suppose to short up. Once he got there we left about 30-40 min after them. I was sick, and therefore needed to go slow so i could breathe at a normal rate (not much of a voice and mucusy) my hiking buddy made it an hour in and just wasn’t feeling it so he turned back(which we discussed beforehand). I came out to just get Adams as i needed it for my winter 48 finish. I made it to the hut to descover the undercast and sun showing. It was an awesome day to be above the clouds. I made my way to adams and noticed airline had 1 single boot prints heading upx. So i continued on to thunderstorm junction. I sat here for a minute and dumped my bag as the wind was barely noticeable and i could see people coming off the cone. I got the peak to myself with less wind than at the thinderstorm junction. It was too good to be truez. I was asked if i will head to madison and i figured it was such a nice day probably should get it for march. A lady quoted hiker ed-you either are doing the grid or you just dont know you are yet-. Got over to the hut and had some lunch before heading up to madison. The day was still great. I left my pack again as the weather was so nice and still people were out. Made it to the peak and back down to the hut. I headed down with a ldy that i actually met on the trails in 2013 for a good portion of it. I had taken off when she had stopped to do a few things. This gave me the chance to get some redlines in. I went and grabbed all of fallsway. I almost screwed up the end as when i hit the snowmobile trail i didnt know i had to go across it and the chainlink gate was the trail. I did do a round about and got the whole thing to the lot though. I had my map in my hip belt and not sure where it went once i got to my car.... o well. Great day out though!
