Parked at gate and walked 7/10ths of a mile to the trailhead on snowy/icy road. |

| Comments: |
Cardigan Mtn Rd to West Ridge Trail in/out. Light coating of snow over ice - only needed light traction - spikes all the way. The snow at lower elevation was soft due to slightly above freezing temps and caused minor balling on the spikes. Summit was mostly bare rock with patches of snow/ice. |
