Comments
Comments: Spikes up 19 Mile Brook, could wear snowshoes but there where a few bare spots. Spikes or crampons to get up Wildcat from Carter Notch, very steep and sketchy side hill. Wore snowshoes on the ridge as trail was broken out but not consolidated, snowshoes down the ski trails....that took a lot longer than I thought(45 minutes). Had read reports that the Ridge trail going down to road from ski areas was very steep/icy, without crampons/ice axe opted for the ski trail. Saw no one on the ridge trail all day but did see what appeared to be a guided group leaving ski area headed south.
