Trail was in great condition - frozen solid with 1-2 inches of fresh snow that had some tracks over it. Early and quick trip up and down via the Kinsman Ridge Trail from the Cannon Tram parking lot. Left at 7:30am and back to my car by 10am - didn't see anyone until we were on our way down. I wore microspikes the whole trip and Bernie (yes, my Berner is named Bernie) was fine with a little Musher's Secret. We had to be mindful of a few icy spots, but otherwise easy going. Early morning clouds blocked the view, but we had a great hike and got home in time for lunch! |
