| Comments: |
Glen cliff trail is hard packed snow and ice at lower elevation and can easily be hiked in spikes, a few ice bulges can be avoided.Carriage road had more snow but not enough for snow shoes, unconsolidated snow near the summit with exposed rocks. Trails were beautiful and I ran into two trail runners doing a loop over the summit that agreed with the ease of the trails today. Also saw 2 hikers coming down from the summit and 2 groups coming up as I was descending. Nice early morning solo hike with wild, socked in, windy summit conditions. |
