There is still a dangerous blowdown protruding into the trail at eye level about halfway to the spring. Otherwise very well maintained. |

The monorail is in good shape. It's narrower between Starr King and Waumbek, but the postholes are easily avoided. The main hazards are springs and seepage at many parts of the trsil, including on sterp sections. Traction is essential at theses spots |
