Beautiful day for our first 4000 footer! I wore snowshoes most of the way and my husband was comfortable in microspikes. I switched to micros on my way down but the top 1.5 was too slippery for me so I switched back to snowshoes. There was a 3 inch coating of snow on top of a hard snow/ice pack. For some areas, snow was sticking heavily to microspikes. |
