Trail was hardpacked snow with some ice most of the way. Some areas had more significant ice flows that needed some care, but it was fine with microspikes. I took the spur to South Peak at the intersection with the Carriage Road and then back and on to the summit. Monorail was stable with some evidence of prior postholing, nothing major. Above treeline it was mostly ice/rime on the rocks. |
