Comments
Comments: Very firm ice and snow throughout. Microspikes the entire way but would have preferred crampons on the steeper sections, some very sketchy steep icy sections. Not a good choice for less experienced hikers new to using traction. Some significant postholing, primarily between the two peaks but also some on the approach to North Tripyramid. These are very deep and very frozen, will be treacherous if/when they get covered with new snow.
