1 set Hillsounds, left perhaps at back of cog building where I took them off. |

Tough day for me. Wore Hillsounds almost continuously because ice or snow was right around the corner. High temperatures melted all the snow above treeline except hardpack on the trails. Much has turned to ice flows, the rest a stable monorail altho there's quite a bit of postholing . In the trees, monorail with some postholing prevalent. Similar conditions seem to be on nearby peaks. I doubt if last night's snowfall changed conditions. Turned around just short of the summit. |
