Was pleasantly surprised at how well the trail was packed down on Zealand Road. We bare booted in all the way to the Hale Brook trail head! No issues what so ever. Once at the trail head, we put on microspikes and wore those to the summit. Saw lots of folks in snowshoes but we didn't need them. Beautiful day to be out for a hike :)
