Gale river up to twin junction was broken out. Thanks to the backpack couple that did most of that!! From twin way to South twin I broke 3 to 5 inches of soft freshies with 12 inch drifts at times. Over joyed to see North twin well packed out. Thank you. Back down to hut where Galehead was well broken out thanks to that couple!! This loop is well packed now. On a side note. North Twin trail looks to be packed also. But the GRT is still untouched and looks like it will be a rough break out do to frozen barefoot prints. Use care on water crossing as bridge is thin and unstable. Long day with no views but still a great one. |
