| Comments: |
The trail is a little more lumpy the whole way through , with much more bare booting traffic, but overall is in pretty good condition. With the temp drop on Friday night spikes will be sufficient for this weekend. After mt. Surprise there are a few spots with exposed ice but spikes were fine. I reached the summit at 6:30 and it was very windy but mild. Caught the sun setting on my up on the ledges above surprise. Great warm night. Gaia had me at 3:27 and it had me at 3:13 for Mt. Cabot earlier. |
